Campus Ministry

For over 100 years, the Diocese of Milwaukee has shown its commitment to the spiritual development of young adults. Originally, a University Commission was established with oversight of St. Francis House for the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Today, young adults have a greater variety of campuses to choose from in Wisconsin and many also choose to postpone the university track or eschew it altogether. Yet, our commitment remains for their spiritual development but must be transformed to meet their needs.

In 2021, the Rev. Bobbi Kraft was called to serve both as chaplain to St. Francis House Episcopal Student Center in Madison and as Young Adult Missioner for the Diocese of Milwaukee. There is currently a full-time ministry at Madison, and additionally, part-time ministries are underway at UW-Milwaukee, Marquette, UW-Whitewater, and, most recently, UW-Platteville.
