Office of the Bishop of Milwaukee

The Office of the Bishop is located at Nicholson House, the former episcopal residence, located at 804 East Juneau Avenue, on Milwaukee's Lower East Side. Along with the Cathedral and its Guild Hall, the three buildings make up the Cathedral complex. Visitors are welcome to visit Nicholson House at any time during normal business hours.

While the Office of the Bishop is located in Milwaukee, the ministry of the bishop and that of his or her staff is lived out all across the diocese. The Episcopal Church is a 'diocesan' church, which is to say that the smallest local unit of the Church is the diocese. We are one diocesan church worshiping in many different communities and settings. The bishop symbolizes for us the unity we share in Christ.
