UTO granting applications now available

The 2014 cycle for United Thank Offerings is now open. Each diocese can submit up to 2 applications each year. One can come for a diocesan program, the second for overseas diocesan connection. We received a grant in 2012 for computers for the Next Generation and in 2013 a grant for the construction of cisterns for the Diocese of Newala.

Information about the criteria and the application itself can be found at the following e-mail address:

On that screen go to the criteria item and then to the last item for the application itself. There are also other items on that page which can help you to determine if your grant request fits the criteria. If you have questions please contact me at or 608-798-3688 and I can help you walk through the process. The deadline for the applications to be in is February 28.

Since the application has to be reviewed by a diocesan committee and approved by Bishop Miller, the deadline for the application to be in the hands of the committee (Connie Ott - chair at ) is February 15. If you are planning to submit an application, please let me know so that I can be available to help you with the application.
