The Rev. Scott Leannah

Canon to the Ordinary

Fr. Scott Leannah grew up in Sheboygan and has lived his life in Wisconsin. He received a BA from Marquette University in 1988 and completed his Master of Divinity Degree at St. Francis Seminary, Milwaukee, in 1993. He was ordained a transitional deacon on September 26, 1992, and a priest on May 22, 1993. Scott served as a priest in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Milwaukee from 1993-2002. 

Scott was received as a priest in The Episcopal Church on November 13, 2003, by the Rt. Rev. Steven Miller. He began his ministry in our diocese in December of 2003, serving at St. Mary's Parish in Dousman until June 2018. During Scott's time at St. Mary's, a new parish church was built and the parish experienced significant growth. From July 2018 through December 2021, Scott served as the rector of St. Thomas of Canterbury Parish in Greendale. Additionally, he served as president of the Standing Committee from October 2017 through June 2021. Scott is married to Gina Kuemmel and they have a daughter, Mia.  

Caroline Senn

Chief Financial Officer

Caroline Senn began her role as the Financial Controller of the Episcopal Diocese of Milwaukee in December 2021 and promoted to Chief Financial Officer in early 2023. Caroline’s professional finance background includes Chief Financial Officer roles in medium-sized publicly-listed and private companies in the Asia Pacific Region with operations in North America and Europe.  

Sara Bitner

Communications Officer

As Communications Officer, Sara is responsible for finding and sharing stories of God’s mission throughout the Diocese of Milwaukee. Sara maintains the diocesan website and social media and produces a weekly newsletter for members of the diocese and the wider church. She also produces a monthly email for the diocesan clergy. In addition,  Sara provides communications support to diocesan parishes. In addition to her work at the diocese, she is also the parish administrator at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Milwaukee. Sara also spends her time singing in several local choral ensembles.

Graicey Van Spankeren

As Administration Manager, Graicey is responsible for the day-to-day management of the diocesan office including general administration, correspondence, support of the diocesan executive team, and management of administrative systems and facilities. She also manages events such as the annual Diocesan Convention and clergy conferences. She is responsible for archive and record management and policy implementation. Graicey supports congregational leaders by scheduling and organizing bishop’s visitations, coordinating the licensing of lay leaders, and connecting them to resources. Graicey is a member of St. Mark's, Milwaukee and recently earned a master’s degree in Theology from Marquette University. In her free time, Graicey likes to enjoy Milwaukee’s lakefront parks, read, knit, and swim.

Erin "Ernie" Wolf

Erin “Ernie” Wolf began her work as the Youth Networking Coordinator, a shared position with the Diocese of Milwaukee and the Diocese of Fond du Lac, in January 2023. As part of this work, Erin coordinates networking youth ministries within and across the two dioceses. She also serves as the director for EpiscoWisco Camp, a cooperative ministry of the Episcopal dioceses in Wisconsin. Prior to beginning this position, Erin served as the diocesan youth ministry coordinator and camp director for the Diocese of Fond du Lac from 2016-2022, as well as the director of youth ministry at All Saints, Appleton from 2012-2022. She has served congregations in Episcopal and ELCA congregations for nearly two decades. Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Cardinal Stritch University and has been involved in youth ministry networks in the Episcopal Church on the provincial and denominational level. She is also a musician and songwriter and brings these talents with her to camp and other church and youth events.

The Rev. Bobbi Kraft

Diocesan Young Adult & Campus Ministry Advisor

As Diocesan Young Adult & Campus Ministry (YACM) Advisor, Mother Bobbi is responsible for assisting those who are called to work with young adults whether as part of a traditional campus or the local community. “Mother B” as she is known at St Francis House Episcopal Student Center on the University of Wisconsin – Madison campus where she serves as chaplain, is committed to the support of the spiritual lives of young adults.

As Diocesan YACM Advisor, she is convenor and resource to the YACM leaders in the diocese, ensures that YACM communications are disseminated across the diocese and state, represents the diocese at YACM gatherings and events within Province V and The Episcopal Church, and prepares the report to diocesan convention.

Mother Bobbi was ordained by Bishop Matthew A. Gunter in 2018 after receiving her divinity degree from Virginia Theological Seminary. She also holds a master’s in Management & Organizational Behavior and previously worked in finance and management, both in banking and non-profits. She has served in campus ministry at Georgetown University while living in DC and at Baylor University while serving in the Diocese of Texas.

Mother Bobbi is passionate about her role as a resource to any who desire to work with and serve the needs of the spiritual lives of young adults. She welcomes inquiries and is available to present to parishes who seek advice for creating or continuing ministry with young adults. When visiting, she brings Jackson, her Bernedoodle, who works with her as a therapy dog to students.

Nate Irvine

Campus/Young Adult Minister

Nate Irvine is the Campus and Young Adult Minister for the Milwaukee Area as of September 1, 2023! In this half-time position, Nate will serve students at Marquette University, UW-Milwaukee, and St. Mark's, Milwaukee. Nate and his family have been part of the St. Luke's, Bay View (Milwaukee) family since the summer of 2021. Originally from Chicago, Nate served in full-time lay ministry with The Salvation Army church for 15 years. For 13 of those years, Nate served in teen and young adult ministry, and then for two years, Nate served as the lead chaplain at The Salvation Army's Emergency Lodge (shelter) at 7th and Walnut here in Milwaukee.  

Nate earned a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies (minoring in Spanish) from Trinity International University (2006) and a master's in Christian Ministry from North Park Theological Seminary (2020). He's been married to his amazing partner, Danielle, for 13 years, and they have a son named Judah. In his spare time, he loves listening to and playing music, doing sporty and outdoorsy things, and watching a good show or movie.
