Ministry to Persons affected by Mental Illness
The Spiritual Care and Behavioral Health Departments of Aurora Health Care are joining forces to offer “Extending the Embrace: Ministry to Persons affected by Mental Illness” a daylong conference on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 to be held at St. Mark AME Church,1616 W Atkinson Ave, Milwaukee, WI. The day will be filled with experts in caring for the mentally ill and their families, including persons affected by trauma. It is designed with local parish ministry in mind. Just gathering clergy together to creatively think about these issues should be powerful.
