Community of Hope, an international organization based on Benedictine spirituality, trains and supports lay pastoral care givers to provide a ministry of presence in homes, hospitals, nursing facilities, shelters, jails, and other places. COH is designed to enhance existing ministries. Members are encouraged to find their place of ministry according to their spiritual gifts and ministry passion.

The training will be held at St. Bartholomew. It requires a 12 week commitment on Wednesday evenings beginning September 4th. Two practice visits to Waukesha Memorial Hospital will be scheduled during the middle weeks of the training. A commissioning service will follow the classes.
