Children and Youth Ministries

Diocesan Youth Ministry

The Episcopal Diocese of Milwaukee is committed to nurturing, sustaining and creating ministry for all ages. The Christian Formation Commission for Lifelong Formation oversees the ministry to families, children and youth in our diocese. This is the commission that plans the Diocesan Youth Events, Acolyte Gatherings, Episcopal Youth Event (E.Y.E.) and Y@C. There are many ways to plug in to what the diocese offers for youth, their leaders and families.

Please note: It is required that all persons working with children and youth in our diocese, whether paid or volunteer staff, are interviewed, have a background check, take the Safeguarding God's Children Training and have an up to date certificate (every 5 years). Basic interview, background checks and other helpful documents can be found in the Prevention of Misconduct Manual of the Diocese of Milwaukee.

Children's Worship Bulletins

For many years the diocesan office (with the able and generous assistance of Trinity, Wauwatosa) emailed Children's Worship Bulletins/Youth Worship Bulletins to the parishes and youth directors of the diocese on a monthly basis.

Each parish that wishes to continue using this resource must now obtain its own subscription, for which the diocese will provide reimbursement. The subscription rates are very reasonable (from $51.90 - $99.00 per year for electronic subscriptions). Parishes simply need to send a copy of their receipt to  , and we'll reimburse you. We are doing this so that each parish can make use of the full range of resources that will best serve their children and youth. This will also allow parishes to work with the resource on its own timetable when it best fits with the availability of staff, volunteers, children and youth to print out the resource.

This offer is open to all parishes in the Diocese of Milwaukee, even if you have not previously used Children's Worship Bulletins.
