Part II: Carving Out Its Own Identity

    Description
Dr. Paul Haubrich continues the story of St. Paul's by explaining how it became and remained unique amongst Milwaukee parishes. In particular, the "cathedral issue" was key in bringing out the tensions between St. Paul's and the direction of the diocese.

    Broad Perspective
In 1783, the Treaty of Paris was signed ending the Revolutionary War. As part of the treaty, Great Britain ceded land that would eventually become the State of Wisconsin.

    Scripture
EPH 4:16 (NIV) Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.  From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
