St. Paul's, Watertown, a small congregation of 65 families, began Mary's Room in 2011, to tend to parents in need in their community, providing diapers, clothing, car seats and other items. Watertown is a pocket of poverty between the wealthier suburban areas of Waukesha and Dane. Mary's Room now serves over 200 children below the age of three, and an average of 50 children each week.
The program works to meet the needs of the Watertown community to the greatest possible extent, reaching out to the town's Spanish-speaking population and working with a Shared Mission Group of ecumenical partners. Donations for Mary's Room are always welcome and may take the form of money or supplies such as clothing and baby furniture.
St. Paul's is located at 13 S. 2nd Street, Watertown, WI 53094Call 920-261-1150 or visit their website.
