Camp Webb is an outdoor ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Milwaukee. Everyone who comes to Camp Webb is given the opportunity to learn more about themselves and others, to discover more about the Episcopal Church, to develop a greater spiritual awareness, and to encounter Christ through living and learning in God’s creation. Campers will learn new skills, make new friends, create lasting memories and explore who they are and who God is in their lives. Camp is held at the beautiful and centrally located Lutherdale Camp near Elkhorn. It is has a lake, large playing fields, basketball court, archery range, large campfire pit, volleyball court, rock wall climb, ropes course and more. We will be using the air-conditioned DeBack Family Lodge with open and inviting large group spaces, kitchenettes, and beautiful sleeping quarters with attached bathrooms and more.
Camp is for kids who are rising 3rd graders through 12th graders. We have both large group activities (morning and evening prayer and our evening all camp activity) where the kids participate together. We also have small group activities (such as program time where the chaplain will adjust activities for appropriate age levels). For instance during program time senior high youth might benefit more from small group discussion whereas our younger youth might explore spiritual topics through an arts and crafts activity). Cabins are also divided according to age and are staffed by counselors who are skilled in working with those age groups.
We think no child should have to miss camp for money reasons. If you want to provide a child the opportunity to go to camp, you have two options: You can send your check for $400 to Camp Webb for a specific child, or you can send a check to sponsor as a scholarship gift for a child.

2017 CAMP INFORMATION
This summer our theme is Superheroes of the Bible. We will be looking at the incredible things people did in the Bible and using these stories to find inspiration in our own lives. So many of our biblical stories are about regular people who had extraordinary faith. They were able to accomplish amazing things simply by having faith in God. How can we pattern our own lives after those of our biblical superheroes? How can we accomplish extraordinary things through faith? How do the stories of Sampson, David, Moses, Ruth, and others inspire us to wrestle with today's challenges? We would like to invite our youth to explore the possibility that being "super" does not come from being stronger or faster or more capable than another―it comes from our ability to rely on God's guidance in our lives. We can all be modern day superheroes... and we intend to look at our biblical role models for guidance. Come join us and explore your own superpowers of faith!
Camp Week―June 18-24, 2017
Each day at Camp Webb consists of large group time, small group time, a wide variety of staff-led activities such as crafts, music, meditation and journal time, games, hikes, archery, worship, evening activities, waterfront swim time and more! Specific Christian Formation activities are part of the daily experience of camp. We believe it is important to learn about Christ and our faith through scripture, music, drama, arts, storytelling and outdoor worship. We have a Camp Chaplain as well as visiting clergy and other guests to help guide us in our spiritual growth and formation.
We invite and welcome all young people to share in the camp experience, so invite your friends, cousins and family! Camp Webb is open to all campers regardless of race, sex, creed, national origin, age or handicap. We believe no child should miss camp because of money. Scholarship assistance is available on a first come, first serve basis. Please apply early for assistance. Check with local resources too, such as your parish priest or church groups (ECW, Men's Group, Youth Group, etc).
