Christ is Alive: Bishop Miller's Easter message 2013

Christ is Risen! Jesus is alive today! That is the proclamation of our faith. Christ is Risen and in his rising the end of death begins. As the apostle Paul writes in his First letter to the Corinthians, "The last enemy to be destroyed is death." (I Cor. 15:26).

Our Vestry Leadership Days were a great success and we are thankful for the ministry of vestry members and Treasurers. Thank you for spending a Saturday with us and we trust the information was helpful, the connections made with others energizing and the time talking about how we serve Christ joyful.
We are grateful to the members of Mission and Development for leading this day and encouraging us to network, learn and have some fun in our ministries. Thank you to the people of Zion for hosting both events. What a blessing we have in this diocese for the location and facility of Zion and especially for the hospitality of the people of Zion.
