There is a small amount of money set aside in the budget of the Diocese to support clergy's continuing education work. Three grants of $300 each are awarded in January of each year on a first-come, first-served basis, to those who apply to the Canon to the Ordinary by December 31 of the previous year. Three more grants of $300 each are awarded in July of each year, again on a first-come, first-served basis, to those applying by June 30.

Individual clergy are urged to share in the cost of their continuing education, along with diocesan support, and financial support from their parish or congregation. Other funding sources are also available, and the Bishop’s Office is working to compile a list of such sources. If you have knowledge of a possible source, please contact the Canon the Ordinary.
