New Beginnings is a special weekend put together for students in 6th - 8thgrades to help students grow in love of themself, others and Jesus Christ. A team composed of youth who have previously attended New Beginnings or Happening, and adults lead the weekend. The weekend runs from 9:00 am Saturday until 3:00 pm Sunday. Activities include games, playing, laughing, and sharing. There is singing, skits, talks, and group discussions on topics like Self, Friends, Parents, Siblings, School, and Church. You will learn to grow while having the time of your life. You are welcomed to attend New Beginnings as often as you like.

Every Parish sending students to New Beginnings must have at least one adult sponsor.  The sponsor is responsible for bringing students to the weekend, participating in the weekend activities and in taking students home after the weekend.  Sponsors assist the teams.  They will not be with students for discussions and small group activities.
