Throughout the next year, the Commission on Ministry will be offering spiritual gifts discovery workshops around the Diocese. Each workshop begins with registration at 8:30 a.m., start at 9:00 and finish promptly at 4:00. This retreat time offers an opportunity for individuals to discover their unique spiritual gifts and how to use them in joyful and personal involvement in ministry, both in and beyond the church.
We are pleased to announce the start of a Diocesan Formation Program for anyone who is interested in furthering their education and formation through classroom study, discussion and work. If you have ever wanted to learn more, to be in a group of peers that will stimulate and stretch your growth as a Christian, then this is the place for you. Youth Training Event
April 12, 2008 - St Francis House, Madison (Sponsored by the Youth Formation Section of the Christian Formation Commission) (This training will follow a Youth Leader's training featuring Betsy Boyd, coordinator of youth ministries at the Episcopal Church Center)
A required training program in sexual abuse awareness for clergy, Sunday School teachers, nursery workers, vestry members, and others who work with minors in our churches. Six four hour sessions will be offered in 2008. Sessions run from 9 am- 12pm with a working lunch until 1pm.
